Beacon

Beacons are impressive means which serve as signals at airports and warnings of danger, but you will also see them rising majestically on the shores of seas and oceans as guides for the ships. Many people are impressed with those lighthouses and often collect miniature replicas or have an entire calendar with pictures of them. This well-written devotional before you has received the meaningful title of Beacon. The purpose of this publication is clear: to guide you, my dear young friend, through the rough seas of your young years, though I am convinced that older ones may benefit from it as well. Many dangers surround you; many temptations threaten you. Much ignorance threatens the young mind, but much good is provided here. The Word of God shines upon the path of the just as a shining light, which shines more and more until the perfect day (Prov. 4:18). Read it prayerfully, carefully, and faithfully, and let the Word upon which these daily readings are founded shine as a lamp before your feet and a light upon your path.
