Messengers in Faraway Countries

The last volume of this series about church history tells about missionaries working in Africa and the islands in the South Pacific. They came to bring the good news of the Gospel and faithfully did their work despite difficult circumstances, work which the Lord often richly blessed. Included are stories about David Livingstone, Mary Slessor, John Hunt, and John Paton, as well as other stories about less well-known missionaries.

These stories, beautifully illustrated by Rino Visser, describe the events of the missionaries’ work in an appealing way.
