Marian Schalk-Meijering

As an early employee of the Dutch newspaper Reformatorisch Dagblad, Mrs. Schalk-Meijering reviewed a lot of books. After being disappointed in some of the children’s books she reviewed, she felt she could write better than that and her first book appeared in 1977. She still regards writing as a hobby, along with reading. Her story inspirations often come from her own life experiences or from things she sees in the newspaper. EFP has published A Great Miracle in a Small Village.
